Is an LLC or a Trust Better for Investment Property

I have an investment property in the form of a 4 family house. Itʼs currently in my name and Iʼm trying to identify whether itʼs better for tax purposes and liability to transfer ownership of the property to an irrevocable or revocable trust or whether itʼs better to transfer to an LLC. In either scenario, the LLC will be managed by me. My main goal is to asset protection and tax minimization.
